Theft at Ohio University
By: Lauren Capponi and Whitney Graf
When you think of crime on college campuses what comes to mind? Probably things such as vandalism, illegal drug use, underage drinking, assault, etc. Believe it or not, theft is also a big issue that many college students are faced with. Since Ohio University is the number one party school, you can imagine how many things get stolen at parties where everyone is drunk and careless. However, there are other places as well, including the school library. In our story we take a closer look at this particular crime that goes on at OU, and explore another side of the controversy. In the end though, it's safe to say that theft will continue to trouble college students to come.
